Retreat in Ösjönäs – Voice, Breath & Presence

Your voice carries your message, your breath carries your voice – but what carries your breath?

In this retreat, voice work, breathwork, and conscious breathing practices come together in a beautiful setting. You will discover what is holding you back, release what has become stuck, and create space for a voice that not only sounds clearer, but also expresses more of who you are and the message you want to share.

Who is this for?

You:

• sing (at any level) or use your voice in any other way

• want to be clearer in the way you express yourself 

• long for personal development 

You don’t need to be “ready”, just curious.

During three days in Ösjönäs, you will have the opportunity to leave everyday life behind and deepen the connection with your voice—not only technically, but also from the inside out.

This is not a traditional “Complete Vocal Technique” singing course.

It is a space for exploration, release, and presence.

What makes this retreat unique?
Most people work either with the voice or with the body and inner process.

Here, we do both:

Voice & Technique AND Breathwork & Nervous System

The result:
You do not only open the voice from the outside, you also open it from within the body.

With Jessica, you will work on:

• Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) – a practical vocal technique for both the singing and speaking voice
• releasing tensions that limit the voice
• expression, musicality (when you are a singer), and presence
• feeling safe in your own voice

Mike will let you experience guided breathwork sessions, using the breath to:

• calm or activate the nervous system
• release stored tension
• connect with emotions and inner processes
• open up the body—which directly affects the voice

Both Jessica and Mike will teach about and work with your breathing system. There is both structure and freedom. You will receive tools while exploring your breathing and voice without pressure.

The sessions take place in a group setting and can be both powerful and deeply restorative.

Many people experience:

• a sense of release
• increased clarity
• a freer and more vibrant voice

The location: Ösjönäs

We are so proud to have found this place!! In the middle of nature, surrounded by forest and water, lies Ösjönäs, a place that already creates calm in itself.

We will stay in a house called Vinkelboda. There is room for 10 participants besides Jessica and Mike. You will share rooms with other wonderful people.

There are:

• two bedrooms with four beds each
• one bedroom with three beds

You are welcome to arrive already the day before (additional costs apply).

About us

Jessica
Singing teacher and speech therapist with a focus on voice, function, and expression.
Works with integrating technique, body, and presence so that the voice can become both free and sustainable. Jessica is passionate about helping people become more confident in themselves, in their technique, and really blossom.

Mike (Ademm)
Breathwork coach who guides people through breathing-based processes to release tension, regulate the nervous system, and create a deeper connection with the body.

Together, we create a space where both structure and intuition are welcome.

Language: We will speak in English, as Mike is from the Netherlands. However, he has learned a little Swedish, since he is very fond of Sweden!
